Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra
Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra currently has eight cadets enrolled in the National Cadetship Programme, which has been implemented in recognition of the limited representation of black musicians and increasing demand for South African musicians
The Orchestra currently has seven fellows who are music students at international schools, receiving financial and artistic support from the Mzansi Philharmonic.

Several researchers and leading international organisations suggest that the arts play a critical role in the development of youth. UNESCO, one of the champions of
policy initiatives on culture and education, appealed to arts organisations and
practitioners to foster the development of arts education in the UNESCO Road Map
for Arts Education (UNESCO 2006).
The Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra’s highly successful 2023 national tour performed to full houses in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Gqeberha.
